    Aunt Beas is just the name of the resturant why in the heck in 2018-2019 would you even think the Andy Griffith show or any of the actors would have anything to do with this resturant..
    The foundation of the resturant is in fact where the show was filmed in Mt.Airy N.C
    That is where the name comes from no actors no fame just a name and hard working ppl just trying to make a living

    We went into the place and the menu was a confused mix of "barbecue", salads and sandwiches and burgers. Two of our party did not hear their number called. Five minutes after the rest of got our food they finally went up to the counter. The food was sitting off to one side and they had forgotten about it.

    The salads were pre made with almost no chicken nuggets. The bbq sandwich was not smoked and the sauce was vile. The chicken fingers were small, looked pitiful, and were fried in the same grease as fried fish and were nasty. They even messed up a grilled cheese sandwich which was limp, not crisp, barely hot, and slathered in mayonnaise.

    The place was clean at least.  But that is the only thing that keeps us from giving this place a zero.

    This BBQ place was very good. I had a fish sandwich and really enjoyed it. Cheap and good- just what I wanted. My husband had a chicken salad sandwich and it was very good. A lot of mayo- which is exactly what he likes.

    We went there for lunch. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. We were shorted an order of French fries. Our food was cold. Would not recommend this place.

    Took my mom and dad here tonight after my parents said they "didn't care" or "anywhere" when asked what they'd like to eat. The wait kinda took a bit longer than desired but the food was good. That's a huge plus for me. As long as the parents are happy, I'm happy. The BBQ was great no matter what other reviewers may say about it.
